Thank you for your interest in your local Saginaw ISD Head Start and GSRP programs. Your online intake application is the first step in giving your child a Head Start in their education career. After you have submitted your online application, you will be contacted by an assigned staff member with an appointment time to meet and complete the remaining portion of your application. Submission of your child’s application does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Acceptance of applications are based on your child’s age, the needs of the child and your family’s total income. To start the enrollment process, please complete the applications below or call the main office at (989) 752-2193, ext. 2241, and schedule an appointment. During the appointment, a staff member will assist you in filling out the necessary paperwork.
The following items are required when the application is taken:
Birth Certificate
Proof of income for the past thirty days (Pay stubs, SSI, and/or DHS Statements, W-2)
Current Immunizations
Proof of Medical Insurance
WIC verification (If currently enrolled)
Proof of SNAP Benefits
Proof of mortgage, rent, utilities, homeowner's or renter's insurance
Proof of Residency (Driver’s license or Utility bill)
