Saginaw County Healthy Families America (SCHFA) promotes family well-being and assists in the reduction of abuse and neglect of children in Saginaw County through family-focused and empathic support. Family support and resources specialists partner with parents to strengthen family relationships by providing long-term home visitation services. Families typically enroll in prenatal services within the first few weeks of birth to receive support when they need it most. Additionally, group-based services are offered monthly to families to encourage safe, family-friendly interactions among community members.
To learn more or enroll in services, contact Heather Richards, SCHFA Supervisor, by emailing hrichards@sisd.cc or calling (989) 399-7450.
