The Michigan Adolescent Pregnancy and Parenting Program (MI-APPP) offers a free integrated system of care and support for expectant and parenting adolescents up to 21 years of age and their families living in Saginaw County, with a strong emphasis on young fathers. By focusing on family wellness, adult connectedness, secondary education, and maternal/child health outcomes, young parents can strengthen essential parenting skills and grow imperative self-efficiency skills. MI-APPP also offers free home visiting and group services. By collaborating with community partners, MI-APPP can best meet the needs of those enrolled in the program.
