arts for all

Saginaw ISD is thrilled to share that the Saginaw Art Museum & Gardens (SAM) is making it easier for students to experience the arts. Through the Arts for All initiative, Title I schools served by Saginaw ISD can now apply for bus transportation reimbursement of up to $150 for field trips to the museum for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This program is designed to remove transportation barriers and ensure students have access to enriching cultural and educational opportunities.

“This is a wonderful partnership that allows students to experience the transformative power of art without barriers," said Coty Kuschinsky, Chief of Staff and Communications Supervisor at Saginaw ISD. "By making field trips more accessible, the Saginaw Art Museum & Gardens is ensuring that all students, regardless of background, can engage in enriching and educational experiences that foster creativity and critical thinking.”

The Arts for All program is designed to help Title I schools enhance access to the museum's exhibitions and programming. Schools will be awarded reimbursements on a first-come, first-served basis, with detailed eligibility and application instructions available on the museum’s website: www.saginawartmuseum.org/fieldtrips.
